Rules & Inspection Updates

The ABC Committee is issuing the following updates to the ABC Rulebook. Please review each revision and its effective date carefully.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 17, 2026

Spoiler – Pages 18 & 33

Spoiler gap can be taped/closed off with insert after technical inspection.

Door Vent Windows – Pages 19 & 34

Maximum deflection of 1” Outward. Inward deflection is not allowed.

This requirement has also been added to both Inspection Checklists.

Cowl Panel – Page 13

The cowl air insert must be supplied by an ABC Approved Manufacturer.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2027

Fenders – Page 27

The rear of the fender wheel opening may be trimmed for tire clearance, ½” of the roll needs to be maintained inward into the wheel opening.

The current ABC Rulebook has been updated to reflect these changes. Each revision is noted in the rulebook with its applicable effective date.
